Governing Council

At Goodwood Primary School, we are proud of our communities’ participation in our Governing Council and Committees. We value our families contributions and willingness to volunteer.

We are always keen for new members and nominations for the Governing Council and our Committees. Please contact us and register your interest with the front office.

If joining the Governing Council or a committee is not the right fit for you, then think about registering yourself as a volunteer. This means obtaining your Working with Children Check (WWCC) and RRHAN-EC, which are the department’s mandated pre-requisites. Completing this process will enable you to do things like read with your child’s class, attend excursions, supervise a disco and accompany classes to swimming lessons. Sometimes the opportunities to support these events can come up at short notice and we would love to establish a pool of enthusiastic, registered volunteers to call upon for these events. Please register your interest with the Front Office.
